The grand, grandparents of our currently incoming fourth generation started in wool in the 1940´s in Uruguay. TOPS was founded in 1986 to increase our family relationship with wool.

We combine the experience and tradition of our family business with more than 60 years in wool, with the dynamics, technology and flexibility of a modern company.

​Our facilities are located in the city of Libertad, San José, Uruguay, 45 minutes from Montevideo, Capital City and Main Port. In Libertad our 20.000 sq meters mill is built in a land of 117 Hectares where we undertake all our production and waste treatment processes with irrigation of 70 Hectares of forestry and 16 hectares of water treatment ponds.

​Since our beginning we have had an uninterrupted activity, seeking to permanently adapt to a changing world, enhancing permanent progress, with focus in having an increasingly positive impact in our world keeping tradition and love for sheep as a constant.
